Encore has two main events during the year “Singing in the Snow” and “Hosted”, a parent from each Encore Student is required to volunteer at these two events.  With the assistance of our amazing Encore parent volunteers we can ensure that our events are successful.

Some committees have roles at both events while others are specific to one event.

Please select one committee for each event based on what looks like you might enjoy.  Those that don’t select a committee will be assigned one at time of events.

  • Both SITS & Hosted

    These committees have duties in both Singing in the Snow and Hosted. If chosen you will work the same committee for both.
  • Volunteer at both Singing in the Snow and Hosted. This role involves providing concessions at both events. Hosted involves more coordination by lead role.

  • Volunteer at both Singing in the Snow and Hosted. This role involves selling tickets at ticket booth.

  • Volunteer at both Singing in the Snow and Hosted. This role involves helping with ushering at both events as well helping with decorations at SITS.

    These committees are for Singing in the Snow only. If chosen you will need to also select a committee for Hosted.
  • Singing in the Snow only. This role involves helping with costumes at SITS. Please select another committee for hosted.
  • Singing in the Snow only. This lead role involves making Candy Grams and organizing the sales of them. Committee assists with the sales at SITS. Please select another committee for hosted.

  • This committee is supervising the warm up room during the event.

  • This committee is assisting in the tabulation of scores for each performance.

  • This committee is backstage during event, assisting groups and moving risers based on schedule. Does require lifting heavy objects.
